While exhibiting at the Digital Signage Expo in March, Emily Dean of rAVe Publications stopped by Gable’s booth to check out the excitement around Gable’s interactive kiosks.

Stephen Gottlich, Gable’s digital visionary and VP of Digital and Strategic Alliances, took time out from the conference to demonstrate the many benefits the digital directories provide for shoppers and mall operators alike.

When Simon Property Group began its journey to create next-generation digital directories, Simon chose Gable because it was looking for a partner – not just a vendor. Gable and Simon teamed up, working closely together on their journey to create enhanced, innovative digital directories from scratch. Built and installed by Gable, the directories incorporate world-class digital wayfinding and interactive capabilities. The directories are designed to provide shoppers with convenient access to what’s going on at their favorite mall through an interactive new user interface. In addition, the digital directories use the latest location-based marketing technology to allow brands to connect directly with their customers with real-time, relevant information.

The new digital kiosks were unveiled by Simon Property Group late last year at some of the most notable shopping centers in the United States, including King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania, Copley Place in Boston, and the Forum Shops in Las Vegas. Digital kiosks will continue to be installed at Simon properties throughout 2017 on a rolling basis.
