What a sweet project!
Gable is proud and honored to be chosen by the ASR Group to re-design, build, and install the iconic Domino Sugar sign located on the historic Baltimore waterfront.
Kudos to our client for saving this classic piece of commercial architecture. They understand the importance of what this 70-year-old sign means to the city of Baltimore and the State of Maryland.
From the beginning, our shared goal was to maintain the visual integrity of the design and lighting while taking advantage of as many modern-day fabrication methods, sustainable materials, and lighting technology as possible.
Signs like this capture the minds and hearts of people that live in, work in, and visit the city. All of us at Gable are excited to play a role in the “remastering” of this historic beacon for Baltimore.
The Baltimore skyline is not new to Gable as we’ve worked on other landmark signs including the M&T Bank Stadium, M&T Bank Baltimore Headquarters, Lupin, Transamerica, CareFirst, Baltimore Museum of Industry, and Montgomery Park buildings.
Stay tuned as we look forward to sharing the progress of this project with you as it unfolds.
